My Story
I have had lots of titles in my life so far: Mom. Wife. Friend. Sister. Daughter. Aunt. Teacher.
In August of 2012, I added a new title: Scentsy Consultant. I tried 3 other direct sales companies before Scentsy so, as you can imagine, I was hesitant to go "all in" with Scentsy. I could sense, however, that this was different right from the beginning. This company was about more than just selling a product. The first piece of advice my sponsor gave me was: "Keep it simple and be yourself." This was SOOOO for me: I needed simple and I needed to be me. Scentsy came at a time in my life that my family was going through some pretty big changes. We had just moved and I left my full-time job to be more available to my family. Today, I still live in Hampton, New Hampshire with my husband, 3 boys, and dog.
Now, I LOVE Scentsy but teaching is my passion. I quickly realized that these two things go hand-in-hand though! One of my favorite things about teaching has always been BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS with people, sharing my knowledge and my experiences to teach them about the content and also about themselves. I have met people from all over the U.S. and Canada and formed some lifelong friendships that I wouldn't have formed if it weren't for this amazing company. Scentsy has only helped me to be a better TEACHER. I now teach high school science and find that I use skills I have gained as a Scentsy consultant daily! It has helped me learn what kind of person I want to be and how to build more meaningful relationships with people.
The Scentsy Family has given me so many opportunities to use my business as a tool to GIVE BACK as well! My husband, boys and I did a Scentsy Buddy Drive and collected 100 Scentsy buddies for children at the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, ME. I’ve also organized a Scentsy fundraiser and helped my niece attend Camp Carefree, a 2-week long summer camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes, for FREE!
I love the FLEXIBILITY my Scentsy business and teaching job give me because I can still be there for my children as well as run my Scentsy business and build my team...I love helping others be SUCCESSFUL! I can't picture my life without Scentsy in it and I would love for YOU to join me! I am always looking for new teammates and would LOVE to show you how awesome this company is and help YOU be successful!
